It is important to know your ring size before you order. You can purchase a ring sizer here, full instructions are included. Alternatively, if you have an existing ring band available to size there are some useful smart phone apps available - you can place your ring flat onto your screen and read off the size. If you are looking to purchase a ring with a wider ring band (the part fitting around your finger) you should go up a size or two from your normal size. All sizes shown for rings are taken at the centre of the ring band.
The size shown for a bangle is the inside diameter and it is important to ensure this will fit over your hand. You can check this by measuring around the widest part of your hand with your thumb tucked in. Alternatively you can measure the inside diameter of a bangle you already have.
Dimensions of pendants are shown against each piece. Where stated, a sterling silver chain is included, and will normally be 18 inches (45 cm) in length.
Dimensions of earrings will normally be shown. Ear posts are standard at 0.8mm wide, and both posts and earring backs will always be sterling silver.
Due to the materials used and the heavy designs, most rings cannot be resized and are only available in the size stated. However it may be possible to resize lighter pieces, which do not incorporate enamel or resin. Please note there may be a fee for resizing, depending on the work involved.
Please feel free to contact me for any sizing queries.

Caring for your jewellery properly is important and will ensure you can enjoy its beauty for years to come.
All pieces should be removed before swimming, bathing, sleeping or exercise, and should not come into contact with perfume, body creams, hairspray or harsh chemicals as this can cause surface finishes to deteriorate prematurely. Perfumes and other such substances should be applied and allowed to dry thoroughly before wearing your jewellery.
All pieces are best stored in an airtight container to help to prevent tarnishing.
Jewellery made from sterling silver, bronze or brass, will naturally tarnish and develop a patina over time and this will often add to the character and richness of your Bellcast Jewellery piece.
Tarnish occurs as the metal is exposed to the air, and can be easily removed by gentle cleaning in warm soapy water and a soft cloth or very soft toothbrush, and then drying thoroughly.
A silver polishing cloth can also be used gently over the silver areas, but avoid using any abrasive cloths or polishes.
All items of Bellcast Jewellery are made individually by hand, with skill and care, using high quality materials and tools. Time is taken at every stage, from the initial design, through the various stages of making and finishing, to ensure that the finished piece is of the finest quality, and built to last.
Hallmarking is a UK legal requirement when selling precious metals over a certain weight, in the case of sterling silver that is 7.78g. Each piece over this weight is sent to the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office in London. They test each item individually and apply the hallmark to confirm that it is solid sterling silver.
The hallmark shows the sponsor's mark, in my case my initials SJR. The mark also shows the precious metal content, the Office mark (there are 4 Assay Offices across the UK, I am registered with the London Assay Office), the sterling silver symbol and the date letter (by year).
The hallmark is your guarantee that the metal used is solid sterling silver, and not a substitute metal or just sterling silver plate. It is an independent test and a guarantee that the metal conforms to the legal standard of purity. The hallmark therefore brings reassurance and added value to your precious piece of handmade jewellery.
All silver used is high quality, ethically sourced 100% recycled sterling silver.
Resin products used are vegan friendly, cruelty free and made from products which would otherwise enter landfill (as they are a by-product of the oil industry).
Packaging is eco-friendly , and where possible made from 100% recycled material.
If you like the pieces you see here but would like something slightly different, maybe a different finish on the metal or a different colour resin or enamel, or perhaps you need a different size or a tweak to the design, please get in touch and we can discuss what I could make for you.
Bellcast Jewellery pieces come with a 6 month warranty to cover any fault which may occur during the making of the piece. Jewellery returned with proof of purchase will be repaired where possible, replaced or refunded. Pieces are individual and therefore replacements will be as near as possible to the original, but can not be exact.
This 6 month warranty does not cover damage caused by the wearer, including damage caused by perfumes, chemicals and general wear and tear.
Your contact information, shipping and billing address will be collected and may be stored. This will only be used as follows
