The designs
Individual hand forged creations range from the pure beauty of sterling silver jewellery alone, to vibrant, colourful pieces combining silver, bronze and brass with rich enamels or bright resins.
Often formed into organic shapes and heavily textured, these dramatic, impactful pieces speak for themselves, and will stand the test of time.
The techniques
Each piece is made individually by hand, using a combination of traditional tools and techniques.
Silver is forged and fused, heated with fire to a molten stage, forming its own unique shape and texture as it cools. Lost wax casting is also favoured, carving and sculpting individual pieces by hand in wax and then casting into silver.
The inspiration
I am passionate about jewellery, and create in the style I love to wear myself ... traditional but quirky, with a modern twist! I still wear handmade jewellery today which I chose many years ago and have loved ever since. I hope you will do the same with your own special piece of Bellcast Jewellery!
